  • General admission tickets purchased to visit the Castle during the day (via Cadw) does not allow access to the concerts hosted at Chepstow Castle in the evening (and vice versa). The Castle closes at 6pm and the public are asked to leave. Gates re-open at 6.30pm permitting only valid concert ticket holders to enter the Castle.
  • No Re-Entry after 8pm
  • Chepstow has no age restriction. Children/ teenagers under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Chepstow Castle is not responsible for unaccompanied or unsupervised children during an Event. Children are the responsibility of the parent or guardian accompanying them at all times. 
  • Tickets purchased and held at the gate can only be collected after 6.30pm when the gates open for Chepstow Castle.
  • No pre-purchased food or drink can be brought into the venue, with the exception of “sealed at manufacture” bottled water. Food and Bar services are available on site.
  • Events will take place regardless of weather conditions unless weather conditions are deemed as a risk to public safety. It is your responsibility to dress accordingly bearing in mind that the venue is open air and set in a historic Castle. Please refrain from bringing umbrellas as they are generally seen as a nuisance to others.
  • Curfew for Events is 11pm although some Events may finish earlier. Please check tickets for this information.
  • Chepstow Castle reserves the right to make changes to the line-up without notification.
  • You may be asked to produce ID on entry or at the Bar.  A challenge 25 policy. Will be in operation.       
  • Security searches will be carried out on entry to the venue. Any prohibited items will be confiscated (including food and drink).
  • Gate staff, Security or any Event Staff reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone for any reason. 
  • Upon entry colour coded wristbands will be issued. Failure to display a wristband will result in removal from the site.
  • No Chairs (folding or otherwise) are allowed into the Castle grounds during Events.
  • All tickets are general admission are standing.

  • All Chepstow Castle Events are non-smoking (or vaping) in all locations within the Venue.
  • No dogs/animals are permitted on site.
  • No Glass, sharp objects, knifes, or any other weapons are allowed.
  • Barbecues, gas cylinders or any naked flames are strictly prohibited.
  • Chepstow Castle has a strict no drug use policy. Any person seen taking or carrying drugs of any kind will be removed from the venue and reported to the Police. 
  • Chepstow Castle Events take place in an ancient monument, barriers and no entry signs are placed in many areas to keep you safe. Chepstow Castle cannot be held accountable for any accidents that occur due to dangerous, drink/drug fuelled or misguided behaviour or actions.
  • Portable toilet units are available on site, including disabled portable toilets and men’s urinals. Urination in public areas is forbidden. Please respect this historic site. 
  • Any person(s) deemed to be causing a nuisance (by Security or any persons working at the Event) will be removed from the site immediately and not receive any monetary refund. 
  • Anyone person(s) deemed to be causing a nuisance or destress to the point where the artiste/their crew or any Chepstow Castle representative deems it necessary to cancel the event (or stop performance) will be liable to Civil Court action, whereby Chepstow Castle  (or any of its representatives) will seek to recover all costs associated with cancelling or delaying the Event.  
  • Recording of any type at any Event is strictly prohibited with-out consent of the Artist. Anyone seen recording any performance will be removed from the site and recording equipment may be confiscated. This may also lead towards criminal damage claims due to breech of Artist copyright. 
  • Event photographers and videographers will be in operation at all Events. Your entry into the venue formally grants Chepstow Castle full permission to use any photography or recording containing your image for future promotional, advertising or media purposes.
  • Chepstow Castle operates as a bespoke venue, including all related services. Events/Acts are sourced by a variety of Promoters. Chepstow Castle cannot be held responsible for any issues solely related to non-supply of any item by any outside supplier.
  • Chepstow Castle Terms and Conditions can be updated at any time due to changes in rules and/or regulations. Chepstow Castle cannot accept responsibility for any changes necessary.
