Besides being nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2016 Edinburgh Comedy Award, making the BBC New Talent Hotlist 2017 and earning rave reviews for her live performances, Jayde can often be seen on the small screen – credits include 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), 8 Out of 10 Cats (E4), Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit S3 (Dave) and Russell Brand’s Stand Off for Comic Relief (BBC).
In the autumn of 2018, Jayde co-hosted the pilot of her, Kiri Pritchard Maclean and Dave Cribbs' show, Amusical, for Comedy Central. It will air in 2019. She also recently took part in Comedy Central’s smash hit series Roast Battle (hosted by Jimmy Carr and judged by Katherine Ryan and Russell Brand) roasting comedian Alex Edelman who she beat in typical Jayde style.
Jayde recently hosted a pilot for Comedy Central, Say Whaaat? with the Impractical Jokers and she will be seen hosting an episode of Comedy Central At The Comedy Story (which will go out this year). She was also a guest on The Chris Ramsay Show (Comedy Central) with Example.
Jayde has acting credits in Russell Howard’s A Gert Lush Christmas (BBC2), A Spencer Jones Christmas (Sky Arts) (which won the 2016 Broadcast Digital Award for Best Scripted Online Short) and Borderline (Channel 5) alongside Kerry Howard. Jayde had a guest role in Sky One’s series Sick Note, starring Nick Frost and Rupert Grint, and she has a guest role in BBC One / Amazon’s hugely anticipated new series Good Omens alongside David Tennant and Michael Sheen which will air in 2018. Jayde appeared in David Earl’s Sky Comedy Summer Short Giddy Up Gunty alongside David and Joe Wilkinson and she also wrote and starred in Bloody Tracy, her own Sky Halloween Comedy Short, with Guilty Party Pictures (produced by Jonny Sweet & Simon Bird) in 2016.
Jayde is also an in-demand writer-performer and has multiple scripted projects in development with Miranda Hart, David Walliams and Jo Sargent’s production company King Bert including one based on her Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated debut show 31. Jayde also wrote and starred in her own BBC 3 Top Ten short Affordable Meats produced by Me & You Productions (Emmy-award winning producers of Hoff The Record).
