From the borderlands of China to the underground reggae scene of South London, Yunnan's very own reggae sensation KAWA is bringing its indigenous groove and soulful rhythms to Brixton Jam on 15th May.

As one of the first Chinese reggae bands to grace a UK stage, KAWA's much-anticipated performance blends the shared histories of Jamaican & Chinese musicians with the unique touch of the rich WA culture, whose people hail from the Southwest Chinese-Myanmar, ethnic minority region.
