In a utopian conception, Lavoisier, formed by Patrícia Relvas and Roberto Afonso, would be the meeting between the Beatles and the duo Kurt Weill and Bertold Brecht in a wine cellar in Trás-os-Montes, eating muamba, washed down with a nice cachaça.
‘Aí’, an album released in 2022, “is a phonographic work that we project out of here. A place, an idyllic space, a utopia that is realized through encounters and actions”. As a result of these actions, eleven steps are taken, through different continents and geographies, where they emerge with a new twisted language, transformed and influenced by gestures other than their own, which illustrate the path to take from here to ‘Aí’.
The presentation of ‘Aí’ at Teatro Taborda represents the celebration and the end of this creative cycle. The motto for what is to come. Guarantee your presence now!
