DEYA & Byrd Out present: Plastician and Manga Saint Hilare
We're double-dropping with two of the UK's most electrifying artists as headline acts: Plastician and Manga Saint Hilare.
Plastician is a DJ & Producer who guarantees cutting edge selections and a keen ear for new trends and genres. Most commonly known for his involvement at the humble beginnings of London’s Grime & Dubstep movements, Plastician was recognised as the first artist to truly cross the boundaries between the two genres, which he showcased on Rinse FM, and then on BBC Radio 1 in the mid 00’s with his popular radio broadcasts, which continue to this day. As a producer, he has countless credits to his name both as a composer of his own original records, and on production credits and collaborations for artists all over the world, including the likes of Skepta, M.I.A., Snoop Dogg and many more. When was the last time you caught a member of Roll Deep in Cheltenham? Yep, thought not... Manga Saint Hilare was a member of of pioneering group, earned two MOBO nominations, and two UK #1s with Roll Deep, and has gone on to develop as an independent artist, as well as holding down a weekly slot on BBC Radio 1Xtra. And he's been nominated for DJ Mag's MC/Vocalist of the Year this year :)... Mixmag "Manga Saint Hilare is grime's realest storyteller" [Mixmag]...
