A show that focuses on motion that inhabits the empty through color painted by “living brushes”, inspired and developed from the performative of Yves Klein experience, that have a original soundtrack created especially for the show, by Christian Vismara (aka Black Pomade).

As for the connection between Yves Klein’s work and dance, Lua Carreira says “what I want about the blue and painter’s work Yves Klein focuses on physics research through of body concepts that the artist developed in his approach such as what is a pictorial immaterial sensitivity zone which is empty and where in the body is a living brush.

“Having those concepts, my point is to build in the human body a several of physical, emotional and conceptual states layers. All this coming out of my personal reflection and interpretation of what the pigment, the blue color and all the energetic charge it carries means”

Have a diversity crew with more than ten people, dancers from different nationalities – Umut Ozdalogllu (Cyprus), Saverio Cifaldi (Italy), Hugo Epié (France), Ana Teresa Pereira (Portugal) – costumes by Margarida Sales, light designer by João Pedro Fonseca, scenography by Hugo Cantegrel e production by EmFim- Associação do Artista.

The production is supported by Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, OPART – Estúdios Victor Córdon, Arcade Dance Center, DGArtes – Ministério da Cultura Português, a crowdfunding campaign organized by the creator and with the support of the Mono Lisboa and the Câmara Municipal de Lisboa.

Born in 1997, Lua Carreira studied at Escola Artística de Dança do Conservatório Nacional (Portugal) and continued his career as a dancer in the Ballet Junior of Geneva (Switzerland), and with the company EgriBianco Danza (Italy). During his journey as a dancer she also had the opportunity to show her choreographic works. In 2019 premiered “Lila – Free Play”, in 2020: “A Morte do Artista” a co-criation with AdrianaSáCouto, “Flattened” a co-creation with Hugo Marmelada and Patricia Keleher and the “My Heaven is Better Than Yours” for Projeto Quorum. In 2019 she founded the MoonWalk.Reverse and in 2020 she co-founded EmFim-Associação do Artista, a cultural association that aims to be an incubator of artistic projects in three departments: theatre, dance and audiovisual.
