Hampstead, 2015. A chance meeting between two men from very different worlds leads to an uncompromising and raw friendship which challenges their understanding of love, addiction, desire, obsession, jealousy, and above all companionship. After moving to London to escape a broken relationship and his drug riddled past, Al struggles to make a living and soon reverts back to his old ways of dealing 'Sweets'. This leads him to the home of Les, a wealthy, elderly writer; who hides his own, private battles. From their first encounter an unlikely and surprising friendship begins to unfold, and love blossoms in unexpected ways.
