Ageas Cooljazz has 4 Concerts per Night

With doors opening at 7pm, the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM start at 8pm, at the Parque Marechal Carmona Amphitheater, followed by the First Concert on the Ageas Stage, followed by the Headliner Concert on the same stage. After the end of the Headliner Concert, the Late Nights begin at the Parque Marechal Carmona Amphitheater. Confirm all the festival schedules at ageascooljazz.pt   

The Ageas Cooljazz receives two of the biggest rising stars from the Brazilian music. Marina Sena and Luedj Luna have performances booked to Cascais in the next July 27^th 2024. The relationship of COOLJAZZ with the Brazilian music is in the DNA festival and the announce of the two canaries’ artists reflects the certainty and the betting in Marina Sena and Luedji Luna.

An absolute phenomenon in recent Brazilian culture, Marina Sena released its thunderous premiere, named “De Primeira”, in 2021, a pop dump with electronic touches (elements of funk, ball, between others). From the north of Minais Gerais, the artist doesn´t stop since then, with a huge number of concerts, magazine covers, awards, international tours, a new album in 2023 (“Vício Inerente”) and an audience gained every day, as reflected in the 5 million monthly listeners on the Spotify music platform.

On the same night, the Ageas Cooljazz presents the artist from Bahia, Luedji Luna, one of the most active voices of Brazil, nowadays. Hers two albums constitute fundamental pieces of the actual Brazilian music. In 2017 released, “Um Corpo no Mundo” and already in 2021, presents “Bom Mesmo é Estar Debaixo D´Agua”, the album that earned to the Brazilian artist the nomination to “The Best MPB Album”, from the Latino´s Grammys of the same year. Her presence in international media as Tiny Desk, Colors and Afropunk gives to the artist´s work international dimension.

SAMALANDRA is a band from Lisbon, formed in 2022, whose music has influences from jazz, hip-hop, ambient and electronic. It is composed by three elements: Débora King (keys/voice), Tiago Martins (bass/samples) and João Neves (drums). These three musicians paint the universe through lunar waveforms, pixelated basslines and isometric beats, giving rise to a sonic dimension that is infinitely recreated. On the 27th of July, they will take the stage at the Cascais Jazz Sessions By Smooth Fm.

Sónia Trópicos performs at Late Nights on July 27th. Born on the day of the Revolution in 1991 and raised in “Margem Sul”. With a path of creative exploration that included design, illustration and ceramics, it was in 2020 that she began producing music. Her sound includes warm rhythms, synths and creative sampling, with a particular focus on Portuguese-speaking sounds.

The night of July 27th at Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, in Cascais, is shaped up to be a memorable one, hosting the most contemporary and relevant artists being produced in Brazilian music at the moment.

20 years Ageas Cooljazz. The Live Experiences presents the Ageas Cooljazz first edition in 2004, a summer festival that is different. As the years went by, so did the iconic concerts, artists were born at the festival, and the audience became more surrendered to artistic criteria, as well as the comfort of the space. The Ageas Cooljazz became unquestionably one of the most important cultural events in Portugal, assuming their differentiation from year to year and focusing on what sets you apart: a unique cultural lineup, the unique beauty of green spaces, enjoying the architectural landscape, the comfort of having a market sit in a summer festival and the focus in the sustainability since from the first hour of his birth. The Live Experiences is proud of the 20 years of Ageas Cooljazz, with many stories and much to do.

The Live Experiences, which celebrates 25 years of foundation, has been the festival's producer for 20 years and continues to provide unique experiences and emotions to spectators and partners, investing in vibrant and sustainable projects.
